Web Reservations International is a dynamic company involved in the
provision of online reservations technology to the accommodation sector.
We operate a number of key websites including Hostelworld.com,
Hostels.com, WorldRes.com and Trav.com. 

 

We are currently looking for an experienced software developer to join
our expanding development team based in Dublin City Centre close to St.
Stephens Green.

You should have at least two year’s experience developing web-based
applications using PHP / MySQL on Linux/UNIX Platforms. With at least 4
years experience with a broad range of technical skills such as HTML,
CSS, C++, Java, and OOAD. 

 

You should feel comfortable getting to grips with large systems quickly
and have strong analytical skills. You should also be capable of taking
responsibility and ownership of tasks and developing sites/components to
tight deadlines and to high quality.

 

Knowledge and experience of component based architecture; design
patterns, UML, source code management, nightly builds, unit load and
performance testing would be an advantage.

You should know how to produce very good documentation and appreciate
its value but most importantly of all, you should love to code.
