Sorry for delay in catching up with the list, had a 'mare
of a week...
At the last meetup I offered to donate a SiteBuilder site
to the group, it's designed for end users to manage content,
and it's written in PHP. Some of it 10 years old, some of it
less than an hour.
I'll get it up and running over the next week. Anyone
needs a username/password give me a shout offlist and
I'll include you as an editor.
Our design honcho is lined up to chat to Sarah regarding
putting a nice design on it. She's going to drop in
late next week as far as I remember.
There's no wiki, no bulletin board, none of that. We'll
add features as common sense demands, if that's OK.
For playing around with PHP apps, project management
gizmos etc, I suggest keeping those away from the main site.
Michele might have something to assist there.
Keep the main site for information about the group, contact
info, directions to the pub for meetups, lists of people
offering themselves as freelancers, or seeking people to
employ, that kind of thing.
My plan is to proceed on the above basis, and then adjust
to feedback and suggestions from the group.
