[Phpug] resources / tutorials for a PHP newbie

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some sites/resources/tutorials for
learning PHP.
I'm an experienced developer (whatever that means!) so am ok for a lot of
the starter stuff - as in, I don't need to learn how to program, just PHP
specific. What I am looking for are something to get me working with some of
the deeper workings of PHP and how it works with the web server etc, and
what nice features it has
I guess I am not too specific there, as I want to find out what all PHP can
do.
