I'm don't think there's a problem nominating yourself ( if there is, I
hereby nominate you ), and location isn't an issue ( provided you have an
Irish address, or something like that ), and a good network connection, for
IRC.

More for the humourous effect than anything else, I contest Kae's nomination
for secretary, and nominate for the position, an IRC Logging Bot. Keeping
the minutes for an IRC based meeting, should be fairly scriptable, and I
don't see anything in the constitution precluding a piece of software from
being a member of the group, and by extension committee membership.
