[Phpug] What does a PHP developer/server admin make these days

A former client of mine is looking to hire a full time intermediate level 
website admin. Along with babysitting a LAMP box in a colo, the lucky person 
will also be required to enhance the existing website and develop additional 
sites, so good PHP and design skills are a must. He's going to be 
advertising the position with Monster and the usual recruitment agencies, 
but beforehand he's looking for guidance on the going rate these days for 
that kind of gig?
