Agreed - the possibility of meetings formalised on IRC, or Skype, or through
some other means allows a great deal of flexibility and removes (somewhat) the
requirement on people to live in or travel to Dublin. (Or Cork, if A.J. hosts
the meetings - but sure noone would mind travelling to Cork, lovely place that
it is ;-) )
You may want to consider using the word 'resident', as I believe it has a
strong legal definition (typically resident for tax purposes, which is well
defined by our government legal department) - but some friendly solicitor
might be able to help out there. If not, I have a few people I can ask - just
let me know.
In summary, this is superb work, IMHO - thanks to all for the great effort
put in. I know I'm not the most active participant in the PHP community, but
I've just kicked off another PHP based project here at work, so there is work
ongoing - some of which we may be able to push back into the community,
hopefully! :-)
Best regards,
