I think that a presence should be expressed but not just a physical one.
Due to time constraints, lack of transport, and an even bigger lack of
knowledge, I would not be attending meetings, but I am moreso a listener. I
think active participation through discussion or attendance would be a good
thing to have, but telling people they have to be there could be a small bit
OTT in my opinion.
