'fraid this one is closed, but there will most likely be open source
off-shoots of it.

basically, we're building a "mega" cms, capable of managing multiple
separate websites. It's a bit more revolutionary than that, but that's
the generic description.

the current CMS we are using, WebME, was open sourced a few years back,
but no-one paid attention to it, so we continued work on the closed
version of it eventually we just removed the OSS version.
~  one piece of OSS which /did/ succeed from that was the KFM project,
which I marketed right from the beginning as Open Source
(http://kfm.verens.com/).
~  what might happen, and I will do my damnedest to make it happen, is
that once the new version is at a stage that we are happy with, we will
open-source WebME again - it's had 3-4 years more development now, and
is extremely usable. It was designed from the start to be used by
non-technical users, and that has succeeded. to the casual user, it
makes Drupal and Joomla look like nuclear physics.

We will be using various OS bits and pieces, and any changes made will
be submitted back. I've made a policy of that in the past anyway, so
that's no biggie.

Again. though - no promises - I know we /will/ need outside help at some
point, but I don't yet know how much, or how permanent that will be.
